\nG\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras, the Founder and Chairman of \u00dc\u00c7GE Group of Companies, who passed away on August 17, 2022, was commemorated with love, respect and longing at the ceremony held at his grave in Bursa Fethiye Cemetery and at \u00dc\u00c7GE companies. His family, \u00dc\u00c7GE Board of Directors, managers, employees, friends and loved ones attended the ceremony.\n
\nBorn in Ardahan G\u00f6le in 1954, G\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras settled in Bursa in 1967 upon the appointment of his father, who was a teacher, and laid the foundations of his business life by manufacturing shelves, which he started in a small workshop in H\u00fcrriyet. The manufacturer, which broke new ground in Turkey with its innovative vision, left its mark as an exemplary businessman from which the business world is inspired by creating a Turkish brand that shapes the sector and is trusted by world brands globally.

A year has passed since he left us, but his traces, values and legacy still live in our hearts and in his works. G\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras was not just a business person, but a leader, a mentor and a visionary who encouraged us to achieve higher goals in every situation. His perseverance, passion and determination have become one of the cornerstones of our success today. We still feel the pain of losing our beloved father deeply. All the memories we made with him always continue to inspire us. In the light of the solid foundations laid by G\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras, his vision and the values he left behind, we, as the second generation representatives who undertake the management of the companies, will move forward with the aim of furthering \u00dc\u00c7GE's vision of global leadership and creating value for the future and keeping its legacy alive. One of the most important lessons our father taught us was to create a family beyond the business world. We are grateful to all of you for being here today. We still deeply feel the sadness of his early farewell. He was a leader whose ideas were highly valued with his visionary vision beyond his time, and who always shared his knowledge and experiences with his educational spirit and guided those around him. With every step he takes, he asks 'How can I create more value for our industry, our customers, our country, society and the world?' he would ask the question. G\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras continues to maintain her very special place in all the hearts she touches with her social responsibility awareness. \n\nFollowing the ceremony at the factory, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were said at the memorial ceremony where G\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras's family, \u00dc\u00c7GE Board of Directors, employees, friends and loved ones came together at the grave of G\u00f6k\u00e7in Aras in Bursa Fethiye Cemetery.
