\u00dc\u00c7GE DRS Robotic Systems Director Tun\u00e7er Y\u0131ld\u0131z, who was a guest at the Industry Radio Storage Solutions Program, made evaluations about automatic storage systems.<\/p>

\u201cAUTOMATIC STORAGE SYSTEMS ARE DIVIDED INTO 3 TYPES\u201d<\/strong>
Stating that there are 3 main automatic storage systems in automatic storage systems: boxed, trayed and palletized, Tun\u00e7er Y\u0131ld\u0131z said the following about the sectors in which these systems are used and their working principles:<\/p>

\u201cBoxed and tray automatic storage systems are close to each other. These systems are mostly preferred in the automotive industry. The main areas where they are used are processes where the amount of stock is low, fast working and small parts are mobile, and product varieties are very dense. These systems; It is currently used in the main industry, automotive spare parts industry and some textiles. \u201cThese box or tray systems, that is, smart storage systems, are currently widely used in e-commerce.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cINDUSTRIES WITH INTENSIVE PRODUCTION PREFER PALLET AS\/RS\u201d
Stating that palletized systems are preferred in sectors that produce intensively, Y\u0131ld\u0131z said, \u201cWhen it comes to sectors that produce intensively, food necessarily comes into play. Another sector is the glassware industry.

As you know, there is a very successful company in this field in Turkey. Hundreds of thousands of shares are produced. In other words, sectors that require intensive production and serious storage definitely prefer pallet AS\/RS systems.\u201d<\/p>

Tun\u00e7er Y\u0131ld\u0131z stated that in smart storage systems, the ordering is from manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic smart warehouses, but that a transition can be made from manual warehouse to fully smart warehouses and said:<\/p>

\u201cThe key point for us here is that our customer should no longer be blocked in the current process in terms of stocking and transportation.
